Role Overview :

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our DevOps strategy, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to automate and streamline our software delivery pipeline. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products to our customers faster and more reliably, contributing to improved customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar, ensuring rapid and reliable software releases for our applications.

- Manage and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, optimizing for performance, security, and cost-efficiency to support our growing business needs.

- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization for our services.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform or Ansible, reducing manual effort and ensuring consistency across environments.

- Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks, proactively addressing issues to maintain optimal system health and prevent disruptions for our users.

- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for DevOps, promoting a culture of automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.

- Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and enhance the team's overall capabilities.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for complex software applications.

- Proven expertise in managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.

- Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and infrastructure management.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in complex systems.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
