Lead DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud to lead and scale our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices. The role requires leadership, architectural ownership, and hands-on implementation, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing systems.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers, ensuring best practices in cloud infrastructure and automation.

- Architect, design, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure (AKS, Azure DevOps, VMs, Networking, Storage, etc. ).

- Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable deployments.

- Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform/ARM templates.

- Manage container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and application lifecycle management on Azure.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, monitoring, and disaster recovery for production systems.

- Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

- Drive cost optimisation and governance across Azure environments.

- Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure secure and compliant deployments

- Evaluate new DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve the environment.

Requirements :

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering, with at least 3+ years on Azure.

- Strong experience with Azure services (AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, Networking, Key Vault, etc. ).

- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).

- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerised workloads on Azure.

- Hands-on experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

- Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

- Good understanding of security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance on Azure.

- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).

- Proven leadership in mentoring and guiding DevOps teams.
