About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps/Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Terraform to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will lead cloud architecture initiatives, optimize automation pipelines, and ensure infrastructure reliability across environments.

This role requires hands-on experience with Terraform at scale, strong cloud proficiency, and the ability to guide teams in DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and deployment of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).

- Create, maintain, and optimize Terraform modules, workspaces, state management, and reusable components.

- Architect and manage infrastructure across AWS / Azure / GCP (specify based on your needs).

- Implement infrastructure patterns such as VPC design, networking, identity management, compute, storage, and monitoring.

- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Automate deployment pipelines for microservices, containers, and serverless applications.

- Integrate infrastructure deployments with CI/CD for fully automated, environment-aware workflows.

- Design and manage container-based environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).

- Implement service mesh, autoscaling, logging, and monitoring for cluster-based workloads.

- Enforce cloud security best practices: IAM, secrets management, encryption, network policies, and compliance controls.

- Implement policies-as-code using Terraform, OPA, Sentinel, or Cloud Custodian.

- Drive observability through modern tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.).

- Ensure high reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery for cloud environments.

- Lead a team of DevOps and cloud engineers; provide technical mentorship and code reviews.

- Collaborate with development, architecture, and product teams to enable seamless cloud operations.

- Evaluate and recommend new DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and automation frameworks.

- Own documentation, runbooks, standards, and best practices for cloud and DevOps operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7 to 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.

- Expert-level hands-on experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, workspaces, and pipelines.

- Strong cloud expertise in at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration best practices.

- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.

- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go).

- Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud observability tools.

- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture patterns.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
