About the Role: We're looking for a senior AI/ML leader to own AI Product Pods across Credit Risk, Fraud, and Collections building and scaling production-grade ML systems that power lending lifecycle decisioning, while leading and growing a high-performing AI engineering team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead AI Product Pods across Credit Risk, Fraud, and Collections functions. - Build and deploy production-scale ML systems for lending lifecycle decisioning. - Own the complete ML lifecycle feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement. - Design scalable distributed ML infrastructure, feature stores, model registries, and MLOps pipelines. - Develop AI solutions for underwriting, portfolio risk monitoring, fraud/anomaly detection, and recovery optimization. - Drive model governance, monitoring, explainability, and BFSI regulatory compliance. - Collaborate with Product, Risk, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to deliver AI-driven outcomes. - Define AI platform architecture, SLAs, and incident management practices. - Build, mentor, and scale high-performing AI Engineering and Data Science teams. Requirements: - 10+ years in Data Science, Applied AI, ML, or ML Engineering, with proven team leadership. - Strong track record building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems at enterprise scale. - Hands-on expertise in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk Management (FRM), Collections, Recovery, or Lending Analytics within BFSI. - Experience leading AI/ML teams and driving end-to-end product delivery. - Strong Python skills, with experience in Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, APIs, Microservices, and MLOps. - Expertise in distributed ML, model training, fine-tuning, model serving, and scalable AI platforms. - Strong grasp of MLOps, Feature Stores, Model Registry, Experiment Tracking, CI/CD, and production monitoring. - Experience with model governance, drift detection, explainability, and BFSI regulatory compliance. - Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills. - Experience leading AI initiatives in Banking, Financial Services, NBFCs, or FinTech preferred; NRI candidates relocating to India also preferred.
