Lead Data Modeler with Snowflake :
- 7+ yrs being Data Modeler or Data Architect.
- Expertise in data modeling, including dimensional modeling, fact table design, conformed dimensions, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 and Type 2).
- Demonstrate capabilities in designing and creating data models including Conceptual, Logical and Physical models, as per the requirements.
- Experience in ERWIN, SQL Database Modeler (SQL DBM) or ER/Studio as modeling tool is required, with additional Model Mart management experience preferred (client is using SQL DBM).
- Knowledge in both OLTP and OLAP Modelling.
- Solid understanding of modern data lake and medallion architecture, including bronze, silver, and gold layers.
- Very good hands-on knowledge/experience with complex SQL queries.
- Experience designing Data Marts and Data Warehouses on Enterprise Scale.
- Collaborate with Database administrator and Data Engineers to translate data models into physical database structures, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Define and enforce data models standard, naming conventions, and best practices to maintain data consistency and quality.
- Data modeling ERP domain experience in at least one platform, such as Oracle EBS, JDE, or Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Experience in Snowflake Data Cloud, including virtual warehouses, roles and security, stages and file formats, tasks and streams, and features such as Time Travel and Fail-safe.
- Additional experience in Oracle and SQL Server Databases preferred.
- Experience in Informatica PowerCenter is a plus but not mandatory.
- Work with business users on the requirement and build data model designs with scalable solution
- Demonstrated ability to understand, produce, and extend large and complex data models for operational and dimensional reporting data stores.
- Knowledge of best practices and design principles building performance efficient models.
- Ability to effectively present complex technical information to non-technical audiences and to senior decision-makers.
- Experience coordinating information requirements of multiple departments, including assessment of usefulness, reliability, and cleanliness of data from several sources.
- Strong documentation skills, including source-to-target mappings (STM), data dictionaries, and data lineage diagrams.
- Strong SDLC knowledge, with excellent process and application system documentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.
- Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with individual technical contribution.
