What You'll Be Doing :

As a Lead Data Modeler, you'll be instrumental in shaping our data architecture and guiding our data modeling initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include :

- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of data modelers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Data Model Design : Oversee the design and development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for complex enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and transactional systems.

- Architectural Guidance : Define and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and governance policies across projects.

- Requirements Translation : Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application development teams to translate complex business requirements into efficient data models.

- Performance Optimization : Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and data integrity.

- Tooling & Technology : Evaluate and recommend data modeling tools and technologies to enhance team efficiency and output.

- Documentation : Ensure comprehensive documentation of data models, metadata, and data dictionaries.

What You Must Have :

- 6+ years of experience in data modeling, with a proven track record of leading data modeling teams.

- Expertise in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

- Strong understanding of various data modeling techniques (e.g., Dimensional Modeling, ER Modeling, Data Vault).

- Proficiency with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner, Sparx Enterprise Architect).

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and big data technologies.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
