Requirement : Alation CDE Manager a must, a plus would be working knowledge of CDE Manager 2.0

Job Description :

- 8-10+ years of Data Governance experiences, Working with Financial and credit data.

- Extensive experience working with Alation and CDE Manager, Ability to manager the data governance life cycle, working from data discovery, classification, requirements building, policy development and metadata quality management.

- Ability to lead team and be hands on with the data governance efforts.

- Familiar with Alation, work with Collibra a plus

- Strong background working with Banking and financial data, Credit and Loan data a plus.

- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with executives

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to dictate how data is collected, stored, and accessed.

- Data Quality & Lineage : Conduct routine assessments to maintain data integrity and document data lineage (how data moves and transforms).

- Compliance & Security : Ensure data management practices align with global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, and regional IT acts) and internal risk controls.

- Stakeholder Enablement : Lead data stewardship initiatives, facilitate training, and promote a culture of data literacy across cross-functional teams.

- Tool & Platform Oversight : Manage metadata repositories and data catalogs, ensuring users can discover and trust enterprise data.
