Senior Azure Data Engineer (Team Lead)

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a professional with a strong background in Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, PySpark, and SQL, along with team leadership experience.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling end-to-end data engineering projects and leading a team of 5+ data engineers, while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of overall experience in the data engineering domain.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering development projects.

- 2+ years of experience in Databricks development.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with PySpark.

- 2+ years of strong working experience with SQL and proficiency in writing complex queries.

- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of at least 5+ data engineers, ensuring delivery excellence and mentoring junior team members.

- Must be fluent in communication, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams effectively.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
