About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer Lead to drive data engineering initiatives, design scalable data platforms, and lead teams building enterprise-grade data solutions for analytics, AI, and business intelligence.

This role requires a strong mix of hands-on engineering + leadership + architecture exposure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement modern data architectures across cloud environments

- Build and optimize ETL and ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing

- Develop batch and real-time data processing systems

- Lead data platform modernization initiatives

- Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance standards

- Collaborate with Data Science, BI, and Product teams

- Mentor and guide data engineering teams

- Implement DataOps and automation practices

- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

- Develop APIs and Azure-based data services where required

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture

- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka, and Airflow

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Delta Lake

- Strong knowledge of data modelling, governance, and pipeline design

- Experience building scalable and high-performance data systems

- Strong leadership and mentoring experience

Good to Have :

- Experience with C#, .NET Core, and Azure PaaS

- Knowledge of Azure Integration Services

- Exposure to cloud security best practices

- Understanding of design patterns and Agile practices
