Role Overview :

As the Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing our next-generation data architecture, leveraging Microsoft Fabric to its fullest potential.

You will collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy and ensuring that we continue to deliver cutting-edge data-driven solutions to our clients. This role is based in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement a robust and scalable data architecture using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

- Lead the development of data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into the data lake and data warehouse.

- Define and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure and tools.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance our data capabilities and improve efficiency.

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of the data platform.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing data architectures using Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using various tools and technologies.

- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and techniques, including relational and dimensional modeling.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to lead and mentor a team of data architects and engineers.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

- Experience with data governance and security best practices.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- 8-12 years of experience in data architecture and related fields.
