Lead Cloud Engineer - AWS/Azure

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and modular design principles.

- Implement observability frameworks including logging, monitoring, alerting, tracing, and metrics dashboards.

- Ensure end-to-end cloud security, governance, access control, and compliance best practices.

- Lead and mentor cloud and platform engineers, guiding architecture decisions and technical design.

- Drive automation, standardization, and cloud platform engineering practices across the organization.

- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and deployment automation.

- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads, ensuring reliability

and scalability.

- Work closely with networking teams to ensure robust cloud networking, VPC design,

connectivity, and routing.

- Evaluate cloud services, tools, and technologies to strengthen platform performance and cost

efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Excellent experience in Terraform, IaC patterns, modules, and DevOps tooling.

- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, Helm, and service mesh

(optional).

- Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).

- Expertise in cloud networking (VPC, subnets, firewalls, routing, VPN/peering, load balancers).

- Solid knowledge of cloud security, identity & access management, and compliance

frameworks.

- Experience implementing observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New

Relic, etc.).

- Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go).

- Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and drive cloud strategy.

- Excellent communication, architecture documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
