Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically adept Lead Business Analyst (Product Owner / SME) to drive the strategic product ownership and solution delivery of the Single Family Rental (SFR) Portfolio Mortgages platform.

This position plays a critical role in defining, implementing, and enhancing digital mortgage platforms such as REALSynergy (Altisource) and integrating them with legacy Onity/Ocwen systems to enable scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of mortgage servicing, origination processes, real estate finance, and SFR portfolio lending, combined with proven expertise in digital transformation and enterprise systems delivery.

You will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring seamless alignment between business strategy, technical execution, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Strategy & Roadmap :

- Define and maintain the strategic vision and roadmap for the SFR Portfolio Mortgage platform, aligning with business objectives, market trends, and regulatory frameworks.

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish key product metrics, success criteria, and value delivery outcomes.

- Prioritize and manage the product backlog to optimize delivery against business priorities and technical constraints.

Business & Technical Analysis :

- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for SFR mortgages, portfolio lending, and loan servicing operations.

- Conduct in-depth business process analysis, system assessments, and data flow mapping across REALSynergy, Onity, and related servicing systems.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, epics, and user stories that development and QA teams can execute against.

- Identify integration points, dependencies, and opportunities for automation and workflow optimization across platforms.

Solution Delivery & Implementation :

- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, data, and QA to deliver product features and platform enhancements.

- Drive the implementation, customization, and optimization of REALSynergy and ensure seamless integration with legacy Ocwen/Onity environments.

- Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing), validate business rules, and ensure functional accuracy and compliance.

- Support deployment and post-production rollout by coordinating with DevOps and support teams.

Stakeholder Management & Governance :

- Partner with senior business leaders, mortgage operations, technology, and compliance teams to align product initiatives with enterprise goals.

- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design reviews to ensure shared understanding of product direction.

- Prepare and present product updates, KPIs, and delivery status reports to executive leadership.

Data, Compliance & Quality :

- Ensure product solutions meet all regulatory, data privacy, and risk management standards in the mortgage servicing domain.

- Partner with data teams to define data models, reporting dashboards, and analytical insights supporting business decisions.

- Champion best practices in documentation, change management, and traceability across all project phases.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline. Masters preferred.

Experience : Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, product ownership, or digital transformation within mortgage servicing, lending, or financial services.

- Proven expertise in SFR (Single Family Rental) or Portfolio Mortgage products, loan servicing processes, and underwriting workflows.

- Strong background in enterprise product delivery, agile methodologies, and platform implementation.

- Hands-on experience with REALSynergy, Altisource platforms, or similar servicing systems is highly preferred.

- Working knowledge of system integration architectures, APIs, and data exchange between front-end and core servicing systems.

- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
