Job description :


We are seeking a highly driven, experienced Lead Business Analyst to support the end-to-end implementation of a multi-phase platform across a 7-phase delivery plan.


This role requires a self-sufficient and proactive BA who can manage client-facing engagements, interpret complex requirements, identify process gaps, and deliver clear, actionable documentation for development teams.


The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, both verbal and written, and have demonstrated experience owning the full business analysis lifecycle from requirements elicitation to post-implementation review.


This is a client-centric position requiring diplomacy, accuracy, and the ability to navigate competing priorities and evolving project scopes.


Key Responsibilities :


Requirements & Analysis :


- Act as the primary liaison between the client stakeholders and internal technical teams throughout all 7 phases of implementation.


- Analyze business needs presented by the client and convert them into clearly defined, actionable functional and non-functional requirements.


- Conduct gap analysis between current-state client processes and proposed future-state system functionality.


- Prioritize and validate requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients.


Documentation & Deliverables :


- Develop and maintain a full suite of business analysis deliverables, including but not limited to :


Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) :


Functional Specifications :


User Stories with Acceptance Criteria


Process Flows and Use Case Diagrams


Traceability Matrices :


- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, client-friendly, and audit-ready.


Project Support :


- Support the 7-phase implementation roadmap with clear documentation and follow-ups at each milestone.


- Partner with project managers to manage requirement dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.


- Track open questions, follow-ups, and decisions made during meetings to ensure proper alignment and resolution.


- Assist in UAT planning, including test case review and validation of developed features against requirements.


Client Engagement & Communication :


- Lead requirement walkthroughs, demo reviews, and status update meetings with client stakeholders.


- Translate technical concepts into language understandable by non-technical stakeholders.


- Manage expectations and negotiate priorities as needed to maintain project integrity.


- Deliver high-quality, professional communication in all written and verbal interactions.


Qualifications :


- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with 2+ years in a Lead or Senior BA capacity.


- Proven success supporting multi-phase software implementation projects.


- Expertise in eliciting, documenting, and validating complex business requirements.


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce professional-level documentation independently.


- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in parallel.


- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.


- The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with company data in various business areas.


- Specific responsibilities include reporting metrics, analyzing methodologies, suggesting operation improvements, and building proposal evaluations in a cross-functional environment.
