About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Lead Backend Engineer to drive the architecture, development, and scalability of our backend systems. You will lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable, high-performance products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own backend architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Design and develop APIs, services, and database solutions.

- Lead infrastructure initiatives, including Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment processes.

- Write and review production-quality code for critical systems.

- Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.

- Mentor engineers and help build a strong engineering culture.

- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems.

- Strong expertise in Go (Golang) and PostgreSQL.

- Proven experience designing and delivering complex distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and infrastructure management.

- Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with real-time data processing or event-driven architectures.

- Familiarity with React or Next.js.

- Exposure to AI-driven products or large-scale platform systems.
