Role Summary :

We are seeking a high-caliber Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to spearhead the architecture and automation of our cloud platform. With over 9 years of experience, you will act as a "Cloud Orchestration Lead," responsible for building scalable, secure, and resilient platform solutions.

You will specialize in AWS EKS and containerization while bridging the gap between AWS and Azure environments.

This role demands a technical powerhouse capable of architecting complex CI/CD pipelines for .NET workloads and Windows Services, ensuring that securityspecifically through Veracodeis baked into every stage of the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a leadership-oriented engineer who can drive automation best practices and optimize cloud costs across a multi-cloud footprint.

Responsibilities :

- Cloud Platform Architecture : Design, deploy, and optimize scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS, with a secondary focus on supporting Azure environments for cross-cloud interoperability.

- Kubernetes Orchestration : Lead the implementation and management of AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), managing cluster health, auto-scaling, and secure container orchestration.

- End-to-End CI/CD Automation : Architect and develop automated pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, ensuring rapid and reliable code promotion for .NET applications and Windows Services.

- Scripting & Infrastructure as Code : Utilize PowerShell and Terraform/CloudFormation to drive "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) initiatives, reducing manual intervention and increasing deployment velocity.

- DevSecOps Integration : Ensure high-level cloud security by integrating Veracode scanning and other security guardrails into the CI/CD flow to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities early.

- Workload Optimization : Manage the deployment and performance tuning of Windows Services and .NET workloads in a containerized cloud environment.

- Automation Leadership : Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization, mentoring junior engineers and refining automation frameworks for maximum efficiency.

- Security & Compliance Governance : Collaborate closely with security teams to implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices and maintain robust cloud security posture management (CSPM).

- Monitoring & Reliability : Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like CloudWatch or ELK to ensure platform high availability and rapid incident response.

- Cost Management : Perform regular audits of AWS and Azure resources to optimize spending and ensure right-sizing of cloud instances and clusters.

Technical Requirements

- AWS Mastery : 9+ years of professional experience with deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda).

- Containerization Expertise : Proven track record in managing Docker and AWS EKS in production-grade environments.

- CI/CD Tooling : Advanced proficiency in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

- Scripting Skills : Strong hands-on experience in PowerShell for Windows-based automation and cloud management.

- Security Tooling : Experience in implementing and managing Veracode for application security testing.

- Hybrid Cloud Knowledge : Working experience with Azure cloud services and managing hybrid infrastructure.

Preferred Skills :

- IaC Tools : Proficiency in Terraform or Ansible for cross-platform infrastructure management.

- Microsoft Ecosystem : Strong understanding of IIS, SQL Server, and .NET core deployment patterns.

- Certifications : AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
