Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead C# Automation Tester to join our team in Bangalore. With 10-15 years of extensive experience, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and leading robust automation testing frameworks using C#. This role demands deep technical expertise in test automation strategies, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of ensuring the quality and reliability of complex software applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and maintainable automation test frameworks primarily using C#.

- Define and implement automation testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices across various projects.

- Guide, mentor, and provide technical leadership to a team of automation testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and performance testing.

- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.

- Conduct comprehensive code reviews for automation scripts, ensuring adherence to coding standards, efficiency, and robustness.

- Collaborate closely with development, product, and manual QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Identify and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the automation testing capabilities and efficiency.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for timely resolution.

- Provide regular status updates, progress reports, and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and risks.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall software development and quality assurance processes.

Required Skills :

- 10-15 years of extensive experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.

- Deep expertise and hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks and test scripts using C#.

- Strong proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress (with C# bindings).

- Experience with API testing automation using C# (e.g., RestSharp, HttpClient, NUnit/xUnit for API tests).

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns in C#.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tests within them (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Proven experience in leading and mentoring automation testing teams.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and concepts.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and testing applications deployed in cloud environments.

- Knowledge of SQL for database testing.

- Relevant certifications in software testing or automation.
