Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI/ML Team Lead to spearhead our video analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying machine learning models and a proven track record of leading teams to deliver successful, scalable, and high-quality AI/ML solutions. This role is a key leadership position, requiring you to guide a team of engineers while ensuring project delivery, technical excellence, and team growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Project Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of machine learning and computer vision engineers to deliver high-quality AI/ML solutions for video analytics.

- Own the technical vision and execution of projects, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.

- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.

Solution Development & Deployment :

- Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning models in a production environment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and business stakeholders, to translate complex business requirements into technical AI/ML solutions.

- Ensure seamless integration of AI/ML models into existing systems and workflows.

Research & Innovation :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML research, tools, and technologies (e.g., Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and video processing).

- Evaluate the potential impact of new technologies on the business and drive continuous innovation.

Team & Performance Management :

- Manage team performance, provide regular feedback, and foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.

- Offer mentorship and career development opportunities to help engineers grow their skills and expertise.

Required Skills :

AI/ML & Computer Vision Experience :

- 10-15 years of total experience, with 6+ years in developing and deploying machine learning models.

- At least 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of machine learning engineers.

Programming & Libraries :

- Strong programming skills in C++ and at least one other relevant language such as Python.

- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and SDKs such as OpenCV, OpenVino, TensorRT, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and NVIDIA Deepstream SDK.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model serving, monitoring, and pipeline automation.

Communication & Leadership :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve project goals and maintain a high-quality standard of work.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with developing AI/ML solutions for video analytics or surveillance systems.

- Knowledge of video streaming protocols (RTSP, RTMP) and codecs (H.264, H.265).

- Experience with real-time analytics and edge computing.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Relevant certifications in AI/ML or a major cloud platform.
