About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Application Architect to drive the design and development of scalable, secure, and cloud-native enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern application architecture, microservices, cloud platforms, and emerging AI technologies.

This role requires strong technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance application architectures.

- Define architecture standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps for enterprise applications.

- Lead the design and development of microservices-based and cloud-native solutions.

- Architect and manage applications on cloud platforms such as Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Develop and optimize API strategies, including RESTful APIs, API gateways, and service integrations.

- Design and implement event-driven architectures using modern messaging and streaming technologies.

- Ensure application security, compliance, governance, and data protection best practices.

- Drive containerization and orchestration initiatives using Kubernetes and related technologies.

- Evaluate, integrate, and implement AI/LLM-based solutions to enhance business applications.

- Collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.

- Mentor and guide development teams on architecture principles, design patterns, and emerging technologies.

- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative technologies to improve application ecosystems.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, application architecture, or related roles.

- Strong expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures.

- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native application development.

- Experience in API design, integration patterns, and service-oriented architectures.

- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.

- Expertise in application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.

- Experience integrating AI/LLM solutions into enterprise applications.

- Strong understanding of software design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.

- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud-native services.

- Relevant cloud certifications (Azure Architect, Google Cloud Architect, Kubernetes certifications) will be an added advantage.

- Experience leading technical teams and enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
