We are looking for Appian Lead for one of our clients for their US, Canada and UK, India and Australia.

Role : Lead Appian Consultant / Developer

Viza status : Australian - Citizens / Permanent Residents

Experience : 6+ years into Appian and mandatory experience in handling an Appian team of developers.

Salary : Negotiable

Work type : Hybrid (Office at Sydney or Melbourne)

Mandatory : Should be Appian Certified

Requirement Gathering and Analysis :

- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements for Appian applications.

Solution Design :

- Designing and developing Appian applications, including process models, user interfaces, and data structures, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Development and Implementation :

- Building and implementing Appian applications using the Appian platform's features and functionalities.

Code Reviews and Quality Assurance :

- Conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, and performing thorough testing to identify and resolve defects.

Technical Leadership and Mentorship :

- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution :

- Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to Appian applications, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Integration and API Development :

- Designing and developing integrations with other systems using APIs and web services.

Performance Optimization :

- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Appian applications, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.

Documentation :

- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

Staying Updated :

- Staying current with the latest Appian features, best practices, and industry trends to ensure the platform's capabilities are leveraged effectively.

Client Communication :

- Interacting with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns.

Project Management :

- Participating in project planning, sprint ceremonies, and release management activities.

Key Skills :

- Strong understanding of Appian platform and its features.

- Proficiency in Appian development, including process models, interfaces, and data structures.

- Experience with Java, SQL, and JavaScript

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
