Position Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Lead Anaplan Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Planning & Performance Management (FPPM) or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of Anaplan model design, development, optimization, and deployment to support enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will act as a strategic partner to finance, business, and IT stakeholders to streamline planning processes, ensure data accuracy, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Lead the design and architecture of scalable Anaplan models that align with business and financial requirements.

- Translate complex business scenarios into multi-dimensional Anaplan model blueprints.

- Define model structures, modules, lists, hierarchies, and calculation logic ensuring optimal performance.

Development & Implementation

- Configure and customize Anaplan models, dashboards, and reporting layers using best practices.

- Build complex formulas, automation scripts, and integrations to connect Anaplan with ERP, CRM, and BI platforms.

- Ensure version control, change management, and model documentation.

Integration & Data Management :

- Work with ETL tools, APIs, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica) for real-time and batch integrations.

- Establish robust data validation, cleansing, and transformation logic to ensure data integrity.

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize model calculation times and workspace utilization by following Anaplan performance guidelines.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to model performance and integrations.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance

- Partner with finance, operations, and IT to align planning solutions with corporate strategy.

- Conduct user training sessions and create knowledge transfer documentation.

- Maintain compliance with data security and governance policies.

Project Leadership

- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

- Mentor junior consultants and drive adoption of Anaplan best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

- Proven hands-on experience in Anaplan model building (Level 1 & Level 2 Model Builder Certification required; Solution Architect certification preferred).

- Strong understanding of FP&A processes: revenue forecasting, expense management, headcount planning, and scenario modeling.

- Proficiency in data modeling, dimensional modeling, and formula optimization.

- Familiarity with EPM tools such as Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, OneStream (nice to have).

Integration & Automation Skills :

- Experience integrating Anaplan with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).

- Knowledge of API-based integration and automation frameworks.

Soft Skills & Leadership :

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success in Agile environments.

Educational Background :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
