Lead AI Platform Engineer Healthcare Automation

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Lead AI Platform Engineer to lead the design and development of intelligent automation platforms for healthcare operations. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems using scalable software architecture, workflow automation, APIs, and Artificial Intelligence. You will work closely with executive leadership, product teams, and operations to build secure, scalable, and automation-first platforms that improve efficiency and support rapid business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design scalable cloud-native backend applications and API-driven platforms.

- Build workflow automation and configurable business process engines.

- Apply AI and LLM technologies to improve business processes and productivity.

- Develop secure integrations with third-party enterprise systems.

- Build operational dashboards, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.

- Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

- 710 years of professional software engineering experience.

- Strong experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and distributed systems.

- Experience leading complex engineering initiatives.

- Startup or high-growth company experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

- Python, Java, Node.js (Go preferred).

- REST APIs, Microservices, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.

- AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.

- Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.

Artificial Intelligence Experience:

- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).

- AI workflow automation and prompt engineering.

- AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or equivalent platforms.

- Building and deploying AI-powered applications.

Preferred Experience:

- Healthcare technology or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

- EMR/EHR platforms and healthcare interoperability.

- Claims or insurance systems.

- HIPAA-compliant software.

- Enterprise workflow automation.
