The CX360 team is on a mission to curate VistaPrint's vast customer data into accessible, easy-to-use data products. These products empower all teams to enable deep personalization across every touchpoint and drive decisions with customer-first insights.
What You Will Do :
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to elevate technical excellence and continue to enhance existing models and build new models for the CX360 team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of sophisticated models. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, and analytics engineers to ensure the delivery of scalable, high-impact insights and automated models.
This is a hands-on role that requires a strong blend of technical expertise, exceptional communication, and proven mentoring capabilities to drive the CX360 roadmap forward.
Key responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development and deployment of advanced statistical and machine learning solutions
- Translate business requirements into data science problems and actionable solutions
- Analyze large and complex datasets using statistical approaches and optimization techniques
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences (using Confluence and Jira)
- Document data science approaches in a clear and concise style
- Mentor and review the work of mid-level data scientists (if applicable)
- Model maintenance and ownership of the deployed Data Science/Machine Learning pipelines
Technical & Data Science Skills :
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling (familiarity with sklearn, spicy, numpy, pandas, PyTorch, HuggingFace libraries)
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, probability, and hypothesis testing
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, tree-based models, clustering, NLP, time series, Deep Learning)
- Practical experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, and integration into products or workflows
- Experience with model selection, evaluation, validation, and performance monitoring
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational and analytical databases
- Experience with data wrangling, feature selection and engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
- Demonstrated proficiency in the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including the use of CI/CD pipelines and model orchestration to ensure seamless deployment of data science models
Your Qualifications :
- Academic Background : Bachelors/Masters or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional Experience : 5+ years of experience in a Data Science or Machine Learning role, with a proven track record of delivering models to production
- Problem Solving : A structured approach to troubleshooting complex data issues and the ability to break down ambiguous business problems into technical roadmaps
