Lavu Tech Solutions - Automation Test Engineer - Selenium/Java

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

- Design and implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber for behavior-driven testing.

- Perform automated testing of REST APIs using Rest Assured.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create effective test cases.

- Use JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.

- Validate application behavior by integrating database testing and performing data verification.

- Utilize secondary tools such as SoapUI and JMeter for API and performance testing.

- Work in integrated development environments like Eclipse and IntelliJ.

- Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

- Ensure high test coverage and contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 8 years of experience in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver and Java.

- Strong experience with BDD frameworks, preferably using Cucumber.

- Hands-on experience with REST API testing using Rest Assured.

- Prior experience working in the banking domain is mandatory.

- Familiarity with database testing and querying.

- Experience with API testing tools such as SoapUI.

- Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter is a plus.

- Proficient in using JIRA for test management.

- Experience with IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
