Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead back-end development for production-grade microservices using Java (17/21) and Spring Boot ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability.

- Architect and maintain enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries.

- Build and optimize data access layers using Hibernate and JPA, following best practices.

- Design, tune, and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes for large-scale datasets.

- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and support streaming and batch data pipelines.

- Implement and consume event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar streaming platforms.

- Ensure data consistency, reliability, and fault tolerance across distributed systems.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployments.

- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and growth-oriented feedback.

- Ensure quality of deliverables adhering to coding standards and best practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

- Solid experience with Hibernate, JPA, and transactional data handling.

- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.

- Hands-on exposure to streaming pipelines (Kafka, CDC, or similar technologies).

- Experience working in distributed systems and cloud-native environments.

- Strong understanding of asynchronous processing and event-driven systems.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.

- Experience with data engineering implementation, including data modeling and transformations.

- Basic understanding and usage of AI in SDLC to enhance productivity.

- Good to have knowledge on SecOps.
