Ladera Technology - Network Security Engineer - Checkpoint Firewall/Zscaler

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage enterprise network security solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Checkpoint Firewalls, Cisco ASA Firewalls, and Zscaler SASE platforms.

- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events by reviewing logs and alerts from firewalls, WAFs, and security tools.

- Implement and manage VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, and access control policies to ensure secure network operations.

- Deploy and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) to protect applications from security threats.

- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to resolve complex security incidents independently.

- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.

- Support cloud security initiatives, primarily on Microsoft Azure, including secure connectivity and access controls.

Required Skills :

- 8 years of hands-on experience in Network and Security Engineering.

- Strong hands-on expertise with Checkpoint Firewalls, Cisco ASA Firewalls, and Zscaler SASE platform.

- Solid understanding of network security concepts including VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, and firewall policies.

- Experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).

- Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot complex security issues, and resolve incidents independently.

- Good understanding of cloud security frameworks, preferably in Azure.

- Experience with Bluecoat Proxy.

- Security certifications (CCNP Security, CCSA/CCSE, Zscaler, Azure Security) are a plus.
