Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Security Network Engineer / Consultant (L3) who will bring deep technical expertise across all layers of cybersecurity. The L3 engineer will lead escalations, manage complex security environments, and drive automation initiatives. This role involves overseeing L1 and L2 teams, mentoring them, and helping them develop their skills. You will also implement incident response processes, manage security architecture, and lead strategic security initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Leadership & Escalation Management : Lead escalations for complex security environments, manage incident monitoring, and implement security automation initiatives.

- Team Oversight & Mentoring : Oversee L1/L2 teams, provide mentoring, skills development, and cross-functional training for junior engineers.

- Security Architecture & Incident Response : Manage security architecture, implement incident response, and improve compliance processes.

- Project Delivery & Continuous Improvement : Full accountability for operations, project delivery, and continuous improvement in security processes and technologies.

- Strategic Initiatives : Lead strategic security initiatives and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Desired Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in security architecture, incident monitoring, and implementation of security systems.

- Deep technical knowledge across all layers of cybersecurity and network security.

- Proven experience in leading teams, mentoring, and driving automation in security operations.

- Expertise in incident response processes and compliance management.

- Strong understanding of security governance and business alignment.

Technical Skills Required (All Levels) :

- Networking : Firewalls, TCP/IP, routing, packet flow analysis.

- Operating Systems : Windows, Unix/Linux, Ubuntu.

- Security Concepts : OWASP Top 10, CIA Triad, vulnerability management, hardening.

- Tools : WAF, Secure Web Gateway, EDR, DAM, DLP, NAC, IAM (RSA, PIM), SIEM/SOAR, Active Directory.

- Scripting/Automation : Python/Shell, Ansible, REST APIs.

- Documentation : SOPs, HLDs/LLDs, dashboards, policies, audit reports
