Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Security Engineer - L3 with 10-15 years of experience to join our team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have extensive, hands-on expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting a wide range of network security devices, with a specific focus on Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls. You will be responsible for managing complex network security infrastructure, handling L3-level support tickets, and ensuring the highest level of security and performance.

This role requires a strong understanding of network design, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Security Management :

- Implement, configure, and support a variety of network security devices, including Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, FortiSwitches, wireless controllers, and Array Load Balancers.

- Manage and maintain specific models such as Palo Alto PA-5060/3020/820, FortiGate 80/60/300/1000C, Juniper SRX 240, and Cisco Meraki MX 64/65.

- Configure firewall rules, VPN tunnels, object addresses, and security profiles as per business requirements.

Incident Response & Analysis :

- Monitor and analyze security incidents, AV/IPS updates, and logs using tools like FortiAnalyzer.

- Handle L3-level customer tickets related to LAN, WAN, and security issues, providing detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reasons for Outage (RFO) reports.

- Collaborate with vendors, service managers, and account managers for timely escalations and resolutions.

Documentation & Project Support :

- Prepare and submit High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.

- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to gain approvals and implement solutions.

- Maintain and update network inventory and customer documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

- 10-15 years of professional experience in network security.

- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls, Array Load Balancers, and AMP servers.

Technical Proficiency :

- Expertise in LAN/WAN, VPNs, security policies, and firewall configurations.

- Proven knowledge of network design and documentation.

- Experience with incident management, ticket handling platforms (Autotask/Datto RMM), and RCA/RFO reporting.

Professional Skills :

- Effective communication, coordination, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications :

- CCNA (200-120), Fortinet NSE5, and Palo Alto PCNSE certifications are highly valued.

- Certifications such as Jetking Certified Networking Professional.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure with certifications like AZ-900 and AZ-700.
