Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer with strong expertise in SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and Enterprise WiFi solutions based on Cisco and HPE Aruba technologies. The ideal candidate will design, optimize, and support large-scale enterprise networks with a strong focus on resiliency, security, and performance. This role involves high-level troubleshooting, architecture support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless network connectivity across global environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Architecture & Deployment :

- Design and implement SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and WiFi architectures using Cisco (Viptela/Meraki) and HPE Aruba (EdgeConnect/Instant APs).

- Deploy and optimize enterprise network components including routers, switches, controllers, gateways, and access points.

- Support network transformation initiatives and zero-touch provisioning.

Configuration, Optimization & Support :

- Manage L3 escalations for large-scale production networks.

- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting of complex routing/switching and wireless issues.

- Optimize network performance through capacity planning, QoS tuning, RF optimization, and policy refinement.

Security & Compliance :

- Configure VPNs, segmentation (micro/macro), firewalls, and NAC solutions.

- Ensure network security posture aligns with compliance frameworks and industry standards.

- Implement best practices for authentication, user access, and device security.

Monitoring, Analysis & Reporting :

- Use tools such as Cisco Prime, DNAC, Aruba Central, SolarWinds, and AirWave for analysis, monitoring, and reporting.

- Evaluate traffic patterns to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Documentation & Collaboration :

- Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, SOPs, change plans, and knowledge-base documents.

- Provide mentorship to L1/L2 teams and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and vendor partner teams.

- Participate in CAB reviews, RCA processes, and network audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Expertise :

- Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela/Meraki) and HPE Aruba EdgeConnect SD-Branch solutions.

- Strong proficiency in routing & switching (Cisco IOS/NX-OS, ArubaOS).

- Advanced troubleshooting expertise in WLCs, Access Points, RF optimization, and enterprise WiFi deployments.

- Experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VXLAN, ACLs, DHCP, DNS, and network virtualization.

- Proficiency with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN), firewall rules, and NAC (Aruba ClearPass/Cisco ISE).

Tools & Platforms :

- Cisco Prime, Cisco DNA Center, Aruba Central, SolarWinds, AirWave, Wireshark, NetFlow tools.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to lead technical calls, outages, and cross-team coordination.

Experience :

- Minimum 5+ years of enterprise networking experience.

- Proven hands-on exposure to large-scale Cisco & Aruba environments.

- Strong experience in L3 troubleshooting and leading critical incident resolutions.
