We are seeking a seasoned Network & Security L3 Engineer to manage and support enterprise-level data center and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in core networking, security frameworks, and advanced troubleshooting in both traditional and software-defined environments. This is a hands-on technical role requiring proactive problem-solving and end-to-end infrastructure management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and support Data Center Infrastructure Technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex TCP/IP connectivity issues, including IP addressing and subnetting.
- Perform advanced routing and switching troubleshooting, with in-depth knowledge of L2 Switching, Spanning Tree, PortChannels, and Trunking.
- Configure and maintain IP Routing protocols and ensure high availability and failover mechanisms.
- Implement and manage SDN and SD-WAN solutions, optimizing performance across hybrid and multi-site environments.
- Administer wireless and WAN technologies, ensuring consistent and secure connectivity.
- Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, ensuring network security and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and incident resolution.
- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and network diagrams.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, perform regular audits, and manage risk mitigation.
Required Skills and Expertise :
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Subnetting, Routing, and Switching.
- Experience with L2 protocols (STP, RSTP, MSTP) and redundancy mechanisms.
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on with SD-WAN platforms like Cisco Viptela, FortiGate, Velocloud, or similar.
- Familiarity with wireless technologies and WAN optimization.
- Proficiency in managing Firewall & Network Security appliances and policies.
- Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills across network layers.
- Understanding of Data Center Topologies, including Leaf-Spine Architecture, Overlay Networks, and Virtualization.
Preferred Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):
- CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching / Security)
- Fortinet NSE4+, Juniper JNCIS, or similar
- Cisco SD-WAN, Aruba, or Palo Alto Networks certifications
