L2 Support Engineer - Wintel

Job Title : Wintel L2 Support Engineer

Location : Navi Mumbai

Department : IT Infrastructure / Server Operations

Job Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide Level 2 support for Windows server-related incidents and service requests.

- Perform routine server maintenance, patching, and performance monitoring.

- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user account management.

- Support and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).

- Work with backup tools and ensure scheduled backups are successful.

- Collaborate with L1 support to escalate/resolve complex issues.

- Document resolutions, procedures, and configuration changes.

- Coordinate with vendors and other IT teams for hardware/software issues.

- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.

- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when needed.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in Wintel support or system administration.

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022).

- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.

- Hands-on with VMware or Hyper-V environments.

- Good understanding of server hardware, storage, and backup solutions.

- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is a plus.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications :

- Microsoft Certified : Windows Server (MCSA / MCSE / AZ-800/AZ-801).

- VMware VCP or equivalent.

- ITIL Foundation certification.
