The engineer supports Windows endpoints, VDI environments, collaboration tools, and enterprise applications, while also maintaining device security, compliance, and user accessibility.
L2 plays a critical role in incident triage, user support, basic deployment troubleshooting, compliance checks, and coordinating escalations to L3 when deeper analysis is required.
Mandatory Skills (L2 Support Engineer) :
- Ability to resolve OS, hardware, application, and basic network issues (Wi-Fi/LAN, VPN, DNS, certificates).
- Experience supporting O365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and collaboration tools.
- Hands-on with application installation troubleshooting, detection failures, and basic deployment issues.
- Understanding of Intune/SCCM for device support (policy checks, app installation status, compliance checks).
- Knowledge of Active Directory: password resets, MFA issues, SSO troubleshooting, group membership updates.
- Experience with endpoint security tools: antivirus alerts, BitLocker recovery, baseline validation.
- Ability to verify and report compliance issues, non-compliant devices, and basic remediation.
