Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced L2 Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java, SQL, and UNIX to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high availability of business-critical applications, resolving issues in real-time, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive long-term stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor production systems and respond to incidents, alerts, and escalations in a timely manner

- Perform root cause analysis and provide fixes for recurring issues

- Troubleshoot application-level issues in Java-based systems

- Write and optimize SQL queries to analyse and resolve data-related issues

- Manage and automate routine UNIX/Linux system tasks

- Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless production operations

- Participate in on-call rotation and ensure 24x7 availability during support shifts

Required Skills and Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in Production Support or Application Support roles

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Java (debugging, log analysis)

- Proficiency in SQL (querying, data analysis, basic performance tuning)

- Good working experience with UNIX/Linux commands and scripting

- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics) is a plus

- Ability to handle pressure and manage incidents independently

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
