Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced L2 Production Support Lead with 8 to 10 years of total experience, including a minimum of 4 to 5 years in Production Support and Middleware environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a support team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the stability and performance of applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in server-side activities, middleware platforms like WebSphere and WebLogic, and proficiency in deployment and release management processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and guide a team of L2 production support engineers working in shifts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents and problems.

- Handle application incidents, perform in-depth troubleshooting, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.

- Support production deployments, perform critical post-deployment validations, and collaborate with business owners for official sign-off.

- Proactively monitor middleware log files, error logs, and perform regular application health checks to ensure system stability.

- Perform preventive maintenance, including configuration changes, log file clean-ups, and routine system health checks to avoid future issues.

- Manage and troubleshoot job scheduling issues, particularly with Autosys, and oversee Windows-based schedulers.

- Lead all server-side activities, including patching cycles, certificate renewals, and application/server migration projects.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development and QA, to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvements in the production environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 810 years of total experience in IT, with at least 45 years in a Production Support or Middleware role.

- Strong expertise in server-side migrations, patching, and certificate renewals.

- Hands-on experience monitoring and supporting applications on WebSphere, WebLogic, Linux, Solaris, and Windows platforms.

- Solid knowledge of job schedulers, preferably Autosys.

- Strong understanding of deployment processes and release management.

- Experience with Feedhub and Autosys job monitoring and troubleshooting.
