We are seeking a Network & Security EngineerL2 with deep technical expertise in routing, switching, wireless technologies, and network security.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Routing& Switching, Arista Routing& Switching, Palo Alto security platforms, along with a strong background in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network environments.
This role demands advanced problem-solving skills, leadership in technical strategy, and the ability to drive secure, scalable infrastructure solutions across the enterprise.
Responsibilities :
- Act as the technical authority and escalation point for all networking and security-related matters.
- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise network infrastructure including LAN/WAN/WLAN and security zones.
- Implement and manage routing and switching solutions using enterprise-grade technologies (e.g., Cisco, Arista).
- Design, deploy, and manage secure wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
- Configure and maintain advanced security platforms, including Palo Alto Networks NGFW.
- Lead and perform end-to-end troubleshooting for complex issues across L2-L7.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, segmentation strategies, ACLs, and threat prevention mechanisms.
- Guide network/security operations in incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
- Provide strategic input on network modernization, capacity planning, and technology evaluations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with project teams, security operations, and infrastructure leads.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Deep expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, QoS).
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise wireless infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, Arista).
- Extensive knowledge of firewall configuration and administration:
- Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS and Panorama).
- In-depth understanding of network and security design principles, segmentation, and best practices.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex enterprise networks.
- Strong background in VPN technologies, NAT, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and layer 7 inspection.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Splunk).
Preferred Certifications :
- CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Security).
- Any relevant cloud networking certifications (AWS, Azure) are a plus.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong documentation and presentation abilities.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on problem prevention and system optimization.
- Ability to lead and mentor technical teams in high-pressure situations.
