L2 Network Engineer - Datacenter/CCNA

Job Title : Network Engineer (L2) Data Center

Location : Mumbai

Experience : 3+ years

Certification : CCNA or equivalent (mandatory)

Domain : Banking domain experience preferred

Job Description :

We are hiring an experienced L2 Network Engineer to support our data center operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, LAN/WAN, and network monitoring tools. A background in the banking domain is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, HPE, etc.)

- Work with IPv4, IPv6, and have a solid understanding of OSI/TCP-IP models

- Monitor and analyze network performance using tools like NNMi, SolarWinds, and Wireshark

- Support and manage LAN/WAN and SDWAN infrastructure

- Assist in network-related issues and escalations at L2 level

- Integrate network services with server and desktop environments

- Ensure closure of network-related SOC issues

- Experience with Finacle CBS/UBS (v10.2.18 or higher) load balancing is a plus

Requirements :

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a data center environment

- Strong troubleshooting skills at L2 level

- Experience with multiple OEM networking devices

- Knowledge of MPLS and SDWAN technologies

- Certification in networking (CCNA or equivalent) is mandatory

- Experience in banking/financial services domain preferred
