Education : B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field
Note : This is strictly a Dehradun-based, work-from-office role.
Key Responsibilities (Development-Focused) :
- Design and develop Layer-2 (MAC) protocols for LTE, 5G NR, and ORAN-based RAN systems
- Implement and enhance MAC scheduler algorithms for throughput, latency, and QoS optimization
- Work on advanced MAC features including Carrier Aggregation (CA), EN-DC, HARQ, and resource allocation
- Develop high-performance C/C++ code for real-time telecom systems
- Contribute to end-to-end RAN protocol stack development with focus on scalability and performance
- Debug and resolve complex issues at protocol, system, and performance levels
- Collaborate closely with PHY, L3, and system teams for cross-layer integration
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions
- Ensure compliance with 3GPP specifications and telecom standards
- Optimize code for real-time execution, memory efficiency, and low latency
Required Technical Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience in Layer-2 / MAC protocol development
- Proven development experience in LTE / 5G NR / ORAN RAN protocols
- Excellent proficiency in C/C++ programming
- Experience working on MAC scheduler, CA, EN-DC, HARQ, and related features
- Good understanding of 3GPP specifications
- Experience in real-time, embedded, or telecom protocol development environments
