Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure, web applications, and systems using tools like Nessus.
- Perform manual and automated penetration tests on defined scopes, including network, application logic, and configuration.
- Collect scan data, analyze findings, eliminate false positives, and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk.
- Create and maintain daily/weekly/monthly status reports, along with detailed VAPT reports outlining identified vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.
- Coordinate with IT and development teams for vulnerability remediation and re-testing.
- Maintain documentation of VAPT processes and findings in organizational data repositories, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support internal/external audits and regulatory compliance checks (e.g., SEBI, CERT-In).
Skills Required :
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Hands-on experience with VAPT tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Kali Linux, and Tripwire.
- Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for network infrastructure and web applications.
- Cyber Security and Penetration Testing certifications (e.g., CEH) preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on confidentiality and handling sensitive data.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
