Job Summary :

A key requirement for this role is experience in creating device configuration templates based on OEM standards and crafting HTML-based UI views/pages required for device onboarding, provisioning, and setup workflows.

The candidate will work closely with DevOps, Platform Engineering, SIP/VoIP Engineering, Product Development, and Support teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure deployments across enterprise communication environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Kubernetes & COSMIC Platform Deployment :

- Deploy, configure, and manage COSMIC platforms and telecom communication services in Kubernetes environments.

- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Kubernetes orchestration tools.

- Configure namespaces, ingress/egress controllers, storage, networking, autoscaling, secrets, and certificates within Kubernetes clusters.

- Support deployment and lifecycle management of SIP/VoIP applications, SBC-integrated services, and communication workloads.

- Perform upgrades, patching, rollback management, and deployment validation for Kubernetes-hosted applications.

- Manage Helm charts, deployment manifests, ConfigMaps, Secrets, StatefulSets, and persistent storage configurations.

- Monitor platform stability, scalability, and performance across development, staging, and production environments.

Cloud, Networking & Infrastructure Management :

Work with cloud-native networking concepts including :

1. Service discovery

2. Ingress/Egress routing

3. DNS management

4. TLS certificates

5. Identity and access management

6. Secret management

7. Network connectivity validation

- Configure and troubleshoot internal/external connectivity between services, SIP devices, SBC platforms, and telecom infrastructure components.

- Support secure communication and certificate-based authentication across distributed environments.

- Configure load balancing, reverse proxies, and network policies within Kubernetes ecosystems.

- Validate firewall, NAT traversal, routing, and media flow connectivity for SIP/VoIP deployments.

SIP/VoIP & SBC Integration Support :

- Support onboarding and deployment of SIP devices, SBC-connected endpoints, gateways, and communication services.

- Configure SIP trunking, codecs, TLS/SRTP, DTMF handling, media negotiation, and failover settings.

- Collaborate with interoperability and VoIP engineering teams for deployment validation and troubleshooting activities.

- Troubleshoot SIP registration issues, call setup failures, one-way audio, RTP/media negotiation issues, and network connectivity problems.

- Analyze SIP traces, RTP streams, PCAP captures, and Kubernetes/container logs for issue resolution.

- Work with telecom protocols and communication platforms integrated with Kubernetes-hosted services.

Device Configuration & UI Customization (Mandatory Skill) :

- Create device configuration templates based on OEM-specific standards and provisioning requirements.

- Develop and modify onboarding configuration files for SIP endpoints, gateways, and SBC-integrated devices.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in Kubernetes administration and deployment engineering.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Strong understanding of container orchestration concepts and cloud-native architectures.

- Experience with COSMIC platform deployments or telecom/communication platform

deployments.

- Strong knowledge of :

6. Networking and connectivity troubleshooting

- Experience working with SIP/VoIP/SBC-based environments.

- Hands-on experience troubleshooting SIP, RTP, media flow, and network-related issues.

- Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.

- Experience creating device configuration templates using OEM-specific formats.

- Mandatory experience crafting HTML-based UI pages/views for onboarding and provisioning workflows.

- Knowledge of provisioning systems and onboarding portals.
