Kubernetes Administrator - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and manage Kubernetes clusters across various environments (production, staging, development)

- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of Kubernetes clusters and associated tools

- Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization

- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes workloads, networking, and storage

- Implement and maintain security best practices, including RBAC, Secrets Management, and Network Policies

- Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Security teams to support platform operations

- Handle backup, disaster recovery, and incident response related to the platform

- Maintain and update documentation related to Kubernetes architecture and configurations

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and operations

- Experience with cloud-native tools such as Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd/ELK

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and managing containerized applications

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, etc.

- Good understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly with managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE)

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible

- Proficient in Linux system administration and shell scripting

- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancing, Ingress, Firewalls)

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with multi-cluster or hybrid cloud Kubernetes setups

- Exposure to service mesh tools (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)

- Experience with monitoring/logging stacks and performance tuning
