Job Description

Role Overview :

As a Kubernetes Administrator, you will be at the forefront of managing and scaling our containerized infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Your day-to-day will involve deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters across various cloud environments.


You will collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to implement best practices for container orchestration and automation. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability and scalability of our applications, leading to improved user experiences and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure to support diverse application workloads.

- Automate deployment and management of applications using Helm Charts, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments across environments.

- Manage and troubleshoot StatefulSets and DaemonSets to ensure proper functioning of stateful applications and cluster-wide services.

- Implement and manage autoscaling policies (HPA/VPA) to dynamically adjust resources based on application demand, optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions to automate the build, test, and deployment of containerized applications.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and ensuring system stability.

- Implement security best practices for Kubernetes clusters, including network policies, RBAC, and vulnerability management, to protect sensitive data and applications.

- Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance and support on containerization best practices and Kubernetes deployment strategies, fostering a culture of DevOps.

- Document Kubernetes infrastructure and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Required Skillset :


- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

- Proven expertise in using Helm Charts for application deployment and management.

- Strong understanding of StatefulSets and DaemonSets and their use cases.

- Experience with implementing and managing autoscaling solutions (HPA/VPA).

- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
