About the Role :

We are hiring a Senior System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Linux, virtualization, data center operations, and enterprise networking. You will manage critical infrastructure, ensure high availability, and lead improvements across on-prem and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and optimize Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, KVM, Proxmox).

- Oversee data center operations : hardware, racks, cabling, power, and audits.

- Handle networking tasks : VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs.

- Implement monitoring, backups, security hardening, and DR processes.

- Drive automation using Bash/Python/Ansible.

- Troubleshoot complex infra issues and lead RCA.

- Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements :

- 3 - 6 years of experience in systems & infrastructure engineering.

- Strong Linux admin and virtualization expertise.

- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, L2/L3).

- Experience with data center hardware and operations.

- Good scripting and automation skills.

- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

- Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Experience with container platforms (Docker/K8s).

- Storage platform experience (SAN/NAS).

- Certifications : RHCE, VCP, CCNA, etc.
