Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior SDET to lead test automation and quality engineering efforts across our lending products. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems

- Own end-to-end testing of lending workflows (loan origination, underwriting, disbursal, repayment, collections)

- Build and execute API automation using RESTful services

- Perform database validation and data integrity checks

- Implement CI/CD-integrated test automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.)

- Conduct performance and load testing for high-traffic fintech systems

- Collaborate with developers to shift-left testing and improve code quality

- Review requirements and provide early feedback on testability and risks

- Mentor junior SDETs and help define QA best practices

- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-8+ years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer

- Strong programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript

- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools

- Strong experience in API testing (RestAssured, Postman, Karate, etc.)

- Solid understanding of test design patterns and automation frameworks

- Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases

- Familiarity with microservices architecture

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Good to Have :

- Experience in Fintech, Lending, Banking, or Payments domain

- Knowledge of security testing (OWASP, authentication, authorization)

- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)

- Cloud experience with AWS / GCP / Azure

- Exposure to regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, SOC2, ISO)
