Job Title : Integration Specialist MuleSoft (L2L3 Support)


Delivery - Full Time 6 to 10 years


No. of positions : Offshore -1


Location : Bangalore


Work Schedule : Full-time, with occasional availability required outside standard hours


Job Summary :


We are seeking an experienced Integration Specialist MuleSoft to support enterprise-grade eCommerce integrations across Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), IBM Sterling OMS/CCC, and other backend systems. The role involves managing all integration flows, advanced troubleshooting, code-level fixes, performance optimization, API monitoring, deployment management, and RCA for connectivity or data-related issues. Bilingual communication is preferred for effective collaboration with onsite and client teams.


Key Responsibilities :


- Manage and maintain all API integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (CloudHub / Runtime Fabric).


- Monitor integration flows, troubleshoot errors, and ensure stability across SFCC, OMS, and external systems.


- Handle incident triage and resolution in collaboration with L1/L2 teams, providing RCA and permanent fixes.


- Perform API lifecycle managementdesign, deployment, version control, and decommissioning.


- Analyse logs and API performance metrics using Splunk, CloudHub, and GCP Monitoring tools.


- Execute deployment activities and validate integration behavior post-release.


- Ensure integrations comply with enterprise security, reliability, and scalability standards.


- Maintain detailed technical documentation of APIs, mappings, and integration dependencies.


- Work closely with SFCC, OMS, and QA teams for regression validation, defect tracking, and performance tuning.


- Identify opportunities for automation and suggest improvements to enhance monitoring and operational efficiency.


L2 / L3 Production Support :


Provide advanced support for MuleSoft-based integrations across enterprise systems


Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to :


- API failures, timeouts, data transformation errors, and message reprocessing


- Synchronous and asynchronous integrations


- Event-driven and batch integrations


Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes


Handle critical incidents, on-call rotations, and production outages


Monitor integrations, logs, queues, and dashboards to ensure system stability


Integration Development & Enhancements :


Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integration flows


Implement hotfixes, patches, and minor enhancements in production environments


Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability


Ensure proper error handling, retry mechanisms, and logging strategies


Perform code reviews and enforce MuleSoft best practices and standards


Collaboration & Operations :


Work closely with L1 support, application teams, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders


Support releases, deployments, and post-deployment validation


Create and maintain integration documentation, SOPs, and runbooks


Mentor junior developers and support engineers


Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


- 610 years of experience, including 4+ years on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.


- Strong skills in Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, RAML, DataWeave, API Manager, and CloudHub.


- Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML transformations, and error handling patterns.


- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Maven) and deployment automation.


- Exposure to eCommerce integration patterns between SFCC, OMS, and CRM/ERP systems.


- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or GCP Monitoring).


- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills; strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.


- Certification : MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or Level 2 (preferred).


Preferred / Nice To Have :


- Knowledge of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and reusable framework design.


- Experience in ITIL-based support operations and Agile/Scrum delivery.


- Basic understanding of GCP infrastructure and security configurations for API gateways.


MuleSoft Certified Developer or Integration Architect certification


Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)


Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, MQ)


Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, ELK, Datadog)


Experience supporting 24x7, high-availability production environments
