Koerber WMS Support Specialist - Technical Support

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Koerber WMS Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our warehouse management systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of WMS functionalities, strong technical skills, and a proven track record in supporting complex supply chain environments.

This position requires flexibility to work in multiple shifts, including night shifts.

Responsibilities :

- Provide L2/L3 support for Koerber WMS (formerly HighJump), troubleshooting and resolving complex issues to minimize system downtime and operational impact.

- Analyze and understand functional supply chain systems to effectively address user requirements and system enhancements.

- Collaborate with implementation teams on new warehouse setups, contributing expertise to system configuration and data migration.

- Lead or participate in the design, development, and enhancement of Koerber WMS modules, with a strong focus on picking, packing, and shipping functionalities.

- Develop and enhance interfaces with host systems using technologies like API, XML, and JSON, ensuring seamless data flow.

- Perform development and enhancements within Koerber Advantage Architect, leveraging strong understanding of the platform.

- Design, develop, and optimize Koerber Reports using SSRS and other relevant tools.

- Configure, troubleshoot, and enhance Zebra Label Printing Solutions.

- Conduct SQL database troubleshooting, including indexing, performance tuning, and automation.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of WMS processes and system capabilities.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.

Requirements :

- Experience : 8+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in any WMS tool, preferably Koerber/HighJump WMS development or L2/L3 support.

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

WMS Expertise :

- Strong functional understanding of supply chain systems and warehouse/logistics operations.

- Proven experience as an implementation team member, with exposure to building new warehouses.

- In-depth understanding and end-to-end enhancement exposure of picking, packing, and shipping modules.

- Experience in building new interfaces or enhancing existing ones with host systems.

- Good understanding of Koerber Advantage Architect development and enhancements (latest certification preferred).

- Sound understanding of Koerber Architect and Page Editor.

- Exposure to other Koerber modules like Labor and Yard Management is a significant advantage.

Technical Skills :

- Strong skills in PL/SQL and SSRS.

- Proficiency in Koerber Reports development and enhancement.

- Experienced in Zebra Label Printing Solution setup and enhancement.

- Experienced in API, XML, JSON interface setup, building, and customizing import systems.

- Must have strong SQL Database troubleshooting, indexing, performance tuning, and automation experience.

- Experience with any .NET technology will be preferred.
