KKR - Frontend/Web Engineer - React.js

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking a Frontend / Web Engineer (React) to build intuitive, high-performance, and scalable user interfaces for modern web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences using modern frontend technologies.

KEY RESPOSNSIBLITIES :

- Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into high-quality, reusable components

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility

- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions

- Identify and address usability, accessibility, and performance issues

- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

- Hands-on experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Hooks, Context, Redux, etc.)

- Experience building responsive layouts using modern CSS frameworks or methodologies

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling

- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, and state management

- Experience with version control systems (Git)

- Experience with TypeScript

- Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel)

- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

- Experience working in agile / scrum environments

- Understanding of basic backend concepts and cloud deployment is a plus
