Role Overview :

There is an opening in the Global Markets IT Equity Derivatives team with a focus on exchange connectivity development. The successful candidate will help develop the electronic trading platform market access layer.

Role Description :

- Development of LPOCG market access (includes pre-trade control). This consists of developing and certifying a market access that connects to the OCG system using binary protocol.

- Development of the OMDC/D market feed handler. This consists of developing a feed handler that processes HKEXs OMDC and OMDD market order messages and derive the market best bid, ask last prices.

- A strong & consistent focus on automation of the development and delivery pipelines.

- Agile mind set & a strong bias for action.

Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required :

Essential :

- Minimum 5 years in a similar development role required.

- Degree holder in Information Technology or equivalent; technical background is preferred.

- Proven experience as a C++ developer or similar role.

- Experience with Exchange Connectivity and direct Market Data feeds (OMDC & OMDD).

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Good foundation in data structures and algorithms.

- Language proficiency : Fluency in English.

Desirable :

- Experience in Equity space and Equity Derivatives.

- Experience with low latency high-capacity trading platforms.

- Understanding of Algorithmic Trading and Front Office execution systems.
