We are looking for a Tech Lead Data Engineering to design, develop, and optimize data systems supporting our digital lending platforms.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in MySQL, data migration, AWS data services, and will be capable of leading a team of data engineers while collaborating with business and analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure data pipelines and database systems.

- Work extensively on MySQL indexes, partitioned tables, data types, triggers, functions, and views.

- Oversee data migration projects using Stored Procedures, PL/SQL, and AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).

- Optimize database performance and ensure high availability using Aurora, DocumentDB, and related AWS data services.

- Manage deployment and configuration across AWS services such as Aurora, DocumentDB, Global Clusters, Route53, etc.

- Provide technical leadership to the data engineering team plan, delegate, and monitor project tasks to

ensure timely delivery.

- Collaborate with analytics, product, and business teams to enable data-driven decision-making.

- Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in database development or data engineering, with at least 2+ years in a lead/mentoring role.

- Strong expertise in MySQL (indexes, partitioning, functions, triggers, views, data types).

- Proven experience in data migration using Stored Procedures, PL/SQL, and AWS DMS.

- Deep understanding of AWS database services Aurora, DocumentDB, Global Clusters, Route53, etc.

- Exposure to open-source databases such as MongoDB.

- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
