Job Description

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in product startup environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation technologies with a proven track record of scaling systems in fast-paced startup environments.

Requirements :

- 4-6 years of experience specifically in product and/or startup environments.

- Proven experience building and scaling infrastructure from ground up.

- Experience working in agile, fast-paced development cycles.

Must-Have Technical Skills :

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with GCP and/or AWS.

- Kubernetes : Expertise in managing 10+ microservices clusters in production.

- Helm : Proficient in Kubernetes package management and deployments.

- Terraform : Strong experience in infrastructure as code and automation.

- Networking : Solid understanding of network concepts, protocols, and implementation.

Operating Systems & Programming :

- Linux : Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems administration.

- OS Fundamentals : Deep knowledge of CPU scheduling and memory management.

- Programming : Intermediate level skills in Python OR Go-lang with production experience.

- Shell Scripting : Advanced scripting capabilities for automation.

- Data Structures : Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.

DevOps & Operations

- CI/CD Pipelines : Experience designing and implementing continuous integration/deployment.

- Docker : Proficient in containerization and writing Dockerfiles.

- Database Administration : Experience with database management and operations.

- Production Experience : Proven track record managing live production systems.

- SaaS Applications : Experience handling distributed SaaS environments.

Monitoring & Observability

- Prometheus & Grafana : Hands-on experience with setup, configuration, and usage.

- Experience monitoring microservices and distributed systems.

Additional Technologies

- CI/CD : Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

- Service Mesh : Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, etc.)

- MongoDB : Knowledge and operational experience.

- Ansible : Configuration management experience.
