About the Role :

As a Data Engineer at Kenko, you will be a key contributor to our analytics-driven environment. This role goes beyond building pipelinesyou will design scalable, creative data solutions that directly power our products, analytics stack, and customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into robust data models and build the infrastructure that accelerates decision-making across the company.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Architecture & Modeling :

- Translate business requirements into scalable, multi-tenant data models.

- Design and maintain data schemas to support analytics and product use cases.

Data Pipelines & ETL :

- Build and maintain dbt pipelines for efficient data transformation.

- Develop and manage Airflow DAGs to orchestrate and monitor ETL workflows.

- Implement and maintain CDC pipelines for near real-time data synchronization.

Data Infrastructure & Optimization :

- Optimize Amazon Redshift for query performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

- Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, ECS) to support and scale the data infrastructure.

Quality, Monitoring & Collaboration :

- Diagnose and resolve data inconsistencies with an analytical and inquisitive approach.

- Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to gather requirements and architect shared datasets.

Required Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role.

- Strong engineering fundamentals and passion for data, analytics, and scalability.

- Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with the AWS cloud ecosystem.

- Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or dbt.

- Proficiency with analytics/BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, GoodData, or similar.

Good to Have :

- Curiosity and a proactive mindset to investigate data anomalies.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and design unified datasets.
