Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between development, operations, and security teams, enabling fast, secure, and reliable software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring scalability, high availability, and security.

- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for automated provisioning.

- Implement containerized applications using Kubernetes and related orchestration tools.

- Optimize cloud resource usage and ensure cost-effective solutions.

- Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD.

- Automate software builds, deployments, testing, and monitoring processes.

- Develop scripts and tools in Python, Shell, or Go to automate operational tasks.

- Enable continuous integration and continuous delivery best practices across multiple environments.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for infrastructure and applications.

- Troubleshoot system and application issues, performing root cause analysis and incident management.

- Ensure reliability, performance, and availability of deployed services.

- Implement DevSecOps practices, including secrets management, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.

- Collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices in infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

- Conduct risk assessments and ensure secure deployment of software systems.

- Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment workflows.

- Participate in architecture and design discussions to improve system scalability and reliability.

- Promote automation-first culture, knowledge sharing, and adoption of DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.

- Strong expertise in Azure cloud services.

- Hands-on experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.

- Solid experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD.

- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Shell, or Go.

- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

- Familiarity with security practices in DevOps, including secrets management, IAM, vulnerability scanning, and compliance.
